Action for Children

Action for Children is driven by a simple belief: every child deserves a safe and happy childhood. Yet too many grow up without the basics - food, warmth, security, or someone to turn to. That’s why their dedicated staff work on the ground every day, offering the protection, practical support and emotional care children urgently need, while also campaigning for long‑term, systemic change.

With 156 years of experience and 342 services across the UK, Action for Children supports hundreds of thousands of children and families each year. Their work spans family support, children in care, mental health and wellbeing, and disability services - providing the stable foundations young people need to thrive.
